In an announcement, Voortman said the acquisition, which was effective 1 January 2023, expands its product portfolio, adding profile cutting machines for steel pipes, pressure vessels, and structural steel.   

“The integration of Müller Opladen is an important step forward in meeting the needs of our current and potential customers and offering a complete product portfolio for profile, plate and pipe processing,” said Mark Voortman, Voortman Steel Machinery chief executive officer. 

Müller Opladen GmbH is a global leader in 3D pipe cutting machines for the small, middle and large range of profiles. It has customers in roughly 70 countries and installations of approximately 1,000 machines.
