Ukraine’s Metinvest Hangs On, Despite War
08/15/2022 - As the fighting continues in Ukraine, two of the four blast furnaces at Metinvest’s Zaporizhstal works are running, but even so, output is piling up because critical ports have been blocked by the Russians, according to an NPR report.
In addition, the company is looking at how it could file a claim against the Russia Federation for billions of dollars in damages to its steel mills in Mariupol.
