U. S. Steel Honors Outstanding Suppliers for 2006
04/20/2007 - United States Steel recognized seven suppliers with its Outstanding Supplier award for 2006.
United States Steel Corp. recognized seven suppliers with its "Outstanding Supplier" award for 2006. The awards were presented at an event in Pittsburgh, PA, by U. S. Steel Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer John Goodish.
Awardees were selected for excellent performance to such factors as safety, quality, cost, customer service and productivity—areas tied closely to U. S. Steel's key business drivers. Companies honored with the Outstanding Supplier award were:
- BP Canada Energy Marketing Corp.
- Caster Maintenance Co.
- Motion Industries
- Norfolk Southern Corp.
- Tube City IMS, Tube City Division
- PGT Trucking
- Wheeling Machine Products
