Tenaris to Supply 470 Kilometers of Pipe for North Argentina Pipeline
03/24/2015 - Tenaris’s mill in Brazil will supply pipes to Odebrecht, the Brazilian company responsible for the capacity expansion of the North Argentina Pipeline.
With this growth, the system will be able to increase transport of natural gas by about 5 million m3 per day.
Tenaris will supply a total of 470 kilometers (86 ktn) of 30” and 36” pipes in API X70M quality with coating that follows TGN (Transportadora Gas del Norte) regulations. These pipes will go across 13 localities from Campo Durán in Salta, where the North Argentina Pipeline begins, to the San Jerónimo compressor plant in Santa Fe.
Tenaris’s welded and seamless pipes for onshore applications are developed for the most extreme working environments. Products are manufactured in accordance to the needs of each customer and each project and comply with industry norms as well as other regulations.
