Talley Metals Raises Prices on Stainless Bar Grades
04/21/2009 - Carpenter Technology subsidiary Talley Metals will increase base prices on all stainless bar products to help offset rising manufacturing costs.
Carpenter Technology Corp. subsidiary Talley Metals announced it will increase base prices approximately 5% on all stainless bar products to help offset rising manufacturing costs.
The increase is effective on all shipments beginning May 1, 2009.
Talley Metals sells stainless steel long products, as well as standard precipitation-hardening grades, to U.S. metals distributors. Based in Wyomissing, Pa., Carpenter Technology produces and distributes specialty alloys, including stainless steels, titanium alloys, super alloys, and various engineered products.
