Academic Faculty Engagement Program

Approved by the Board in Oct 2013, the objective of this program is to increase participation by academic faculty at AISTech to connect the steel industry with the research advancements being made at universities.

The AIST Foundation sponsors the following benefits:

• AISTech Academic (Non-Student) Registration Discount (50%)
  University faculty are offered AISTech registration at a discounted rate of 50%. This option is available during the AISTech registration process.

• AISTech University Exhibit Space / Pavilion Discount (50%)

Universities and trade / technical schools will be offered a booth in or near the AISTech Exhibit Hall to promote their steel-related programs to conference attendees. A 10’ x 10’ booth with a 6’ skirted table, waste can, two chairs and carpeting will be offered at the current baseline booth rate. The Foundation will reimburse the university of 50% of the cost. The university or trade / technical school will be responsible for any add-on costs over the baseline booth rate such as a larger booth. For more information contact Cate Davidson.
