Jan. 4, 2006 — Ryerson Inc.’s new corporate name is now in effect, as is the concurrent adoption of the ticker symbol "RYI" for its common stock listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

Previously, the company was named Ryerson Tull, Inc. and traded under the ticker symbol "RT" on the New York Stock Exchange.

Ryerson Inc. is a leading North American distributor and processor of metals, with revenues of $4.5 billion through the first nine months of 2005. The company services customers through a network of service centers across the United States and in Canada, Mexico, and India.
