Report: New USW Contracts Include Promises for Mill Investments
12/10/2018 - America’ s two largest integrated producers, United States Steel Corporation and ArcelorMittal USA, collectively will put $5.6 billion toward improvements at their mills as part of newly ratified labor agreements.
As The Times newspaper of northwest Indiana reports, the United Steelworkers sought the commitments during labor negotiations, which yielded new four-year agreements with each of the companies.
