Reliance Steel & Aluminum Names New Corporate Officer

Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. announced the appointment of Sheldon Tenenbaum as the company’s new Senior Vice President, Supplier Development.
 
Tenenbaum 63, joined Reliance in 1998 with the acquisition of Chatham Steel Corp., which is now a subsidiary of Reliance Steel & Aluminum. He previously served as Vice President of Chatham Steel and, since 1999, has served as Director of Supplier Relations.
 
Mr. Tenenbaum graduated from Tulane University with a B.A. degree in Political Science and has over 39 years of metals service center industry experience. David H. Hannah, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, said, “Sheldon’s vast expertise regarding the metals service center industry has contributed greatly to Reliance over the years and we look forward to his future accomplishments.”
