Steel Properties & Applications (SP&A) Conference Proceedings
The Steel Properties & Applications (SP&A) Conference Proceedings publishes research articles focusing on scientific or technical areas relevant to the iron and steel community. All manuscripts must be accepted and presented at the Materials Science & Technology Conference*. It is free of charge to submit your manuscript for publication in the SP&A. The paper will be published in the AIST Resource Center following the MS&T conference. The Steel Properties & Applications Conference Proceedings will also be available to order for on-demand print after the conference. The online conference proceedings will be available around mid-October. All articles will receive a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), to identify its content and provide a permanent link to its location on the internet.
*Please note it is not mandatory to submit a manuscript to participate in MS&T.
The scope of the SP&A spans all fields of iron and steel manufacturing, from extractive metallurgy to liquid metal processing, casting, thermomechanical processing as well as coating, joining/welding and machining. Articles related to structure and properties, i.e., characterization, phase transition, chemical analysis and testing of creep, corrosion, or strength, are accepted. Papers on process control, testing and product performance are also included.
Please submit the manuscript, completed copyright form, and authors’ names and email addresses. Please submit your manuscript HERE no later than 31 August.
