Praxair to Supply Industrial Gases for New Deacero Plant at Coahuila
04/20/2012 - Praxair Mexico has signed a new contract with Mexican steel company Deacero to supply oxygen, argon, and nitrogen to a new plant being built in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, in north Mexico.

Praxair will build, own, and operate a new state-of-the-art and energy-efficient cryogenic air separation unit with a capacity of 500 tons per day, which is expected to start up in the first semester of 2014. The steel plant will produce 1.5 million tons of steel per year.
