OEMK Confirms Compliance with International Standards
11/19/2013 - Oskol Electrometallurgical Plant (OEMK), part of Metalloinvest, once again confirmed compliance of its quality management system with the ISO/TS 16949:2009 standard.
This is the fourth successful recertification audit of the system. TUV SUD experts renewed the enterprise’s compliance certificate, noting the high standards of production, issues management and personnel training systems in place.
OEMK’s quality management system was originally ISO/TS 16949-certified in 2004. The compliance certificate, valid for three years, is one of the key conditions to be fulfilled in order to supply materials to the automotive industry.
OEMK’s customers value the quality improvement and technological stability measures at the enterprise highly. For example, Schaeffler, a leading global ball bearings manufacturer, declared OEMK its best supplier in 2012.
