Northwest Pipe Announces $15.5 Million Order

May 26, 2006 — Northwest Pipe Co. has been named as pipe supplier to the SD-02070 Treated Water Pipeline — Segments 5 & 3B to supply approximately $15.5 million of welded steel pipe for the Lewis & Clark Rural Water System.
Northwest Pipe has received a verbal agreement from S.J. Louis of Waite Park, Minn., to supply approximately 86,000 feet of 54-inch diameter steel pipe.
The company expects to manufacture the pipe in its Denver, Colo., division with delivery scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2006.
Northwest Pipe manufactures welded steel pipe in three business segments. Its Water Transmission Group is a leading supplier of large diameter, high-pressure steel pipe products that are used primarily for water transmission in the United States and Canada. Its Tubular Products Group manufactures smaller diameter steel pipe for a wide range of construction, agricultural, energy, industrial and mechanical applications. Its Fabricated Products Group manufactures propane tanks and other fabricated products. The company is headquartered in Portland, Ore., and has nine manufacturing facilities across the United States and Mexico.
