Morgan Construction Co. has received a contract from Siderurgica Lazaro Cardenas – Las Turchas, SA de CV, for a new rod outlet to be installed at the company’s existing Sibasa mill in Celaya, Mexico.

Morgan will design, manufacture and install the rod outlet as an addition to the existing bar mill. Equipment to be installed will include mini-blocks, a No Twist^® mill, water boxes, pinch roll, laying head, Stelmor^® conveyor, and a complete coil handling system with compactor and Morgan automation. When added to the existing mill, the outlet will provide the capability to roll 5.5 to 25 mm rod into coils.

The mill is scheduled to be delivered in February 2006.
