MNM Acquires Kent Automation
09/05/2014 - MNM Manufacturing Inc., a division of MNM IND INC., Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, has acquired Kent Automation Inc. of Kent, Ohio, a machine design company.
For over two decades Kent Automation has produced and serviced production lines and manufacturing equipment for window production. The company has evolved into a distinctive provider of solutions for specialty designed equipment in broad section of industries: blow molding, fiberglass, aluminum, injection molding, PVC fabrication, roto-molding, steel, and plastics.
Through the acquisition, Kent Automation will become part of a leading innovative team for specialty designed automated equipment supplying solutions in the automotive, rubber, construction, steel and pipe and tube industries.
MNM IND INC. was formed in 2012 by Michael Pollard as a business development & investment holding company comprised of MNM Manufacturing Inc. for the acquisition of medium design and manufacturing businesses, and MNM Properties, a holding company for commercial buildings.
The MNM group has investments and developments which, including Kent Automation (integrated machines for window, construction, automotive & rubber industries), New Horizons West Inc. (promotes programs on astronomy, geology, mineralogy, biology, archaeology) and First Star Solar (customized solar electric power systems).
Michael Pollard is no stranger to the industry as a past board member of the ITA, Mr. Pollard served on the board of directors for Bronx International from 2001 to 2010 and was instrumental to the growth of the Bronx finishing solutions throughout the world serving as executive vice president, sales & marketing. After aiding the successful venture of the Fives Group acquiring Bronx International Mr. Pollard resigned in 2012 and formed MNM Industries Inc.
