Middough Announces New Hire for Architectural Business

Middough Inc. has announced that William A. Burmeister, AIA, has joined its St. Louis, Mo., location as senior project manager. His responsibilities include developing and managing health care, higher education, and government projects for the company's architectural business.
 
Burmeister brings more than 27 years of architectural experience on major health care projects, medical campus facilities, college campus master planning, skilled nursing care, corporate headquarters, justice facilities, governmental projects, municipal projects, and multifamily residential projects.

Prior to joining Middough, Burmeister had project management and architectural project experience with previous projects that included St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, Ind., and in St. Louis the Farrell Learning and Teaching Center at the Medical Campus of Washington University School of Medicine and the BJC HealthCare campus integration projects including the Center for Advanced Medicine. He also provided architectural services expertise to major corporate clients such as the St. Louis Cardinals Organization, Progressive, Williams, Marriott, and USDA.
 
Burmeister received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Kansas State University. He is a member of local organizations in St. Louis including the American Institute of Architects (AIA), serves on the Board of Directors for AIA Missouri, a committee liaison for AIA/Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) St. Louis Continuing Education Workshops, and an active member of St. Louis Rotary Business Leaders.
