Main Steel Expands Senior Management Team
08/09/2011 - Main Steel Polishing Co., Inc. announces that Jim Stephens joins the company as Vice President of Sales and Carl "Bud" Horstmeyer joins the company as General Manager of the company’s Atlanta, Ga., facility.
Main Steel Polishing Co., Inc. announced that Jim Stephens has joined the company as Vice President of Sales and Carl "Bud" Horstmeyer has joined the company as General Manager of the company’s Atlanta, Ga., facility.
In his new position, Stephens assumes responsibility for the direct metal sales force on a nationwide basis. He brings a distinguished 30-year track record in metals distribution, including 26 years with Ken Mac Metal and three years with Macsteel. Stephens was a key member of the management team that grew Ken Mac from a small distributor to a large, multi-location service center. His most recent position was National Sales Manager - Non-Ferrous Metals for Macsteel.
Horstmeyer joins Main Steel from Alcan (now Constellium) where he spent the past three years as Manager of OEM Sales. He brings 37 years of experience in metals distribution, with specialties in both commercial and plant operations developed in previous positions at Rasco, Ryerson, and Metal Goods.
