Kalyani-Gerdau Chooses Quad Infotech to Provide a Complete MES System for Indian Steel Plant
09/04/2012 - Quad Infotech has been awarded an order by Kalyani-Gerdau Steel to provide a comprehensive manufacturing execution system in its steel plant in Tadipatri near Bangalore, India.
Quad Infotech has been awarded an order by Kalyani-Gerdau Steel (KGS) to provide a comprehensive manufacturing execution system (MES) in its steel plant in Tadipatri near Bangalore, India.
Quad Infotech will supply its QMOS suite of products to cover the steel making process from iron making, BOF and continuous caster to billet production as well as management of the billet yard.
The QMOS modules will also manage the operation of the rolling mills, finishing, bundling and post processing for the SBQ products.
Quality control modules of QMOS will support all above processes from end to end.
