JSW Steel Posts 2% Growth in Crude Steel Production for May

JSW Steel Limited reported the production of 577,000 tonnes of crude steel in May 2011, representing a growth of 2% compared to crude steel production of 565,000 tonnes in the same month last year (May 2010).
 
The company also reported the production of 390,000 tonnes of flat rolled products in May, a 1% increase from 388,000 tonnes in May 2010. The company also produced 119,000 tonnes of long rolled steel products in May, representing an 8% increase over 109,000 tonnes of long rolled products produced in May 2010.
