Formtek Expanding Manufacturing Capabilities with New Slant Bed Turning Center
06/20/2013 - Formtek, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio, as part of a comprehensive plan to expand its manufacturing capabilities, has taken delivery of a new Mazak 500M slant bed turning center.
This lathe will increase Formtek’s turning capabilities up to 36” diameter and 118” long. The new machine is intended to add capacity for their existing tube, pipe and coil processing customer base, as well as further penetrate the oil and gas and specialty component machining markets.
