Carpenter Technology Adds New Director to Board
02/26/2009 - Carpenter Technology announces that William Wulfsohn, Senior Vice President, Coatings for PPG Industries will join Carpenter’s Board of Directors.
Carpenter Technology Corp. announced that William Wulfsohn, Senior Vice President, Coatings for PPG Industries will join Carpenter’s Board of Directors, effective April 21, 2009.
No committee assignments have yet been designated for Mr. Wulfsohn.
Prior to his current position, Wulfsohn (46) served as Vice President, Coatings and Managing Director of PPG Europe (2003 to 2005) and as Vice President and General Manager—Nylon Systems, for Honeywell International (2000 to 2003).
Previously, he was with Rohm & Haas/Morton International, where he held a series of management positions, finishing as Vice President and Corporate Officer, Automotive Coatings and Business Director.
Wulfsohn holds a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan and a masters of business administration from Harvard Graduate School of Business.
Based in Wyomissing, Pa., Carpenter Technology is a leading manufacturer and distributor of specialty alloys and various engineered products.
