Nucor Steel recently awarded a multimillion dollar contract to Bricmont, Inc. for a new pusher reheat furnace.

Bricmont will design the furnace and install it at Nucor’s Kankakee, Ill., facility, which had formerly been owned by Birmingham Steel. In addition to the furnace, Bricmont’s scope of supply includes level 1 and level 2 control, billet charging equipment and associated automation.
