ATI Allegheny Ludlum Announces Alloy Price Increase

Jan. 5, 2007 — ATI Allegheny Ludlum announced to its customers that it would increase base prices for AL 2205 alloy by 4%.

The increase, which takes affect with orders entered on January 3, 2007, applies to AL 2205 alloy in all product forms, including sheet, strip, Precision Rolled Strip, continuous mill plate and plate mill plate products.

The company says the increase is necessary to support continued growth and necessary investment in its business.

The company notes that all surcharges remain in effect as described on the Allegheny Ludlum website.
