Agency Rules Galvanized Wire Imports Not Harming Canadian Industry
08/21/2013 - The Canadian International Trade Tribunal found that the dumping and subsidizing of cold-drawn carbon or alloy steel wire originating in or exported from China, Israel and Spain have not caused and are not threatening to cause injury to the domestic industry.
Antidumping and countervailing duties will therefore not be collected by the Canada Border Services Agency. The complainant in this case was Tree Island Steel Ltd. of Richmond, British Columbia.
The Tribunal will issue the reasons for its finding on 4 September 2013.
