All leadership positions in AIST require membership in AIST and active employment in the iron and steel industry. Refer to the Bylaws for term duration and other requirements.
Board of Directors
The Board consists of 29 Directors including: ten officers, the President of the AIST Foundation, representatives from the Association's nine Technology Divisions, and commensurate representation from nine of the Association's Member Chapters.
Member Chapter Officers
Each Chapter shall have, at a minimum, the following officers: (i) Chair, (ii) Vice Chair and (iii) Secretary. Many Chapters also utilize additional officers such as Membership Chair, Scholarship Chair, etc.
Technology Committee Officers
Each Technology Committee shall have, at a minimum, the following officers: (i) Chair and (ii) Vice Chair. Many Committees also utilize additional officers such as Membership Chair, Papers Chair, etc.
