STUDENT REGISRATION
Students may attend for free by registering via the AIST Foundation’s Steel to Students Training and Travel Funds. Free student registrations are limited to the first 25 registrants.
POSTER CONTEST
Any professional or student attendees who are registered for the AIST MENA Steel Forum and who have completed a project or paper may register to participate in the poster session. The topic of the poster should be related to the iron and steel industry, properties or applications. Posters will be judged on quality, clarity, aesthetics and technical content. Oral presentation of the research is not a criterion for judging.
Posters should not exceed 45” x 45”. Graphics should be simple, colorful, well-labeled and clear. The title should be written in letters 2 to 5 cm. high, and should be readable from a distance of 2 m.
All participants are required to submit their posters in the form of a high-resolution PDF with exact dimensions listed in the file name (Ex: FILENAME_45x45.pdf) to wesam.sadek@bue.edu.eg by Friday, 30 May 2025.
The AIST MENA Chapter will print and hang all posters on Tuesday, 24 June and Wednesday, 25 June with judging to take place on Wednesday afternoon. For questions or more information, contact: Wesam Sadek.

CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations must be made in writing and emailed to memberservices@aist.org at AIST headquarters. Cancellations received by 9 June 2025 will receive a full registration refund. Cancellations received after 9 June 2025 will result in forfeiture of the entire registration fee. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted as requests for refund.
