Business Development Director– Europe, Head of EDC Representation
Export Development Canada Klaus Houben has served as Export Development Canada (EDC)’s business development director – Europe and head of EDC representation since 2020. Based in Düsseldorf, Germany, Houben leads EDC’s activities in the region with responsibility for business development and relationship management with private sector companies and public sector officials, as well as supporting key clients and Canadian exporters and investors active in the market. Houben began his career with EDC in 2010 as senior regional manager – Europe. From June 2017 until August 2020, he was EDC’s chief representative – Southeast Asia, based in Singapore. Houben has more than 40 years of experience in international business development and in financial services serving corporate customers from medium-sized enterprises to multinationals. |
