AISI: August Steel Shipments Up Month-on-Month But Down Year-on-Year
17 October 2013 - The American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) reported that for the month of August 2013, U.S. steel mills shipped 8,343,075 tons, a 0.8% increase from the 8,274,511 tons shipped in the previous month, July 2013, and a 0.4% decrease from the 8,377,162 tons shipped in August 2012.
