About the Meeting
The AIST Southeast Member Chapter is one of AIST’s largest chapters and its territory covers five eastern states, from Virginia to Florida. The chapter hosts a three-day meeting each year that includes a golf outing, networking opportunities, technical presentations highlighting the latest industry innovations and developments, vendor displays, dinner with a keynote presentation, and a plant tour. This year’s host mill is Gerdau Steel Cartersville.
Who Should Attend
Young steel professionals and students to industry veterans will benefit from the networking opportunities and technical knowledge gained by attending. The meeting is open to members and non-members.
Bring Your Own Young Professional (BYOYP) Program
AIST recently launched the Bring Your Own Young Professional (BYOYP) program to encourage our members to help boost the next generation’s involvement in AIST and the steel industry. If you are an AIST member and are bringing a Young Professional (age 30 and under) to the conference, you can receive a free gift.
