Tim Lagenbach Tim Lagenbach joined KfW in 2007. Shortly after in 2009 he joined the natural resources sector where he worked as a portfolio manager and subsequently as a credit analyst with focus on the Resources and Recycling sector. He joined the debt structuring and origination team in 2012 and led EMEA coverage for more than a decade, structuring numerous project finance transactions with ECA, UFK and Euler Hermes covers. Since 2023 Lagenbach has served as an in-house technical engineer within the KfW Metals & Mining team, supporting the team globally when needed in new business opportunities and existing deals. Lagenbach studied economics at Goethe University Frankfurt, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, and Université Lumière Lyon 2 and graduated with a master’s degree in mining from the Technical University of Clausthal. In addition, he speaks occasionally on mining-finance-related topics at universities or business associations. |
