Stéphane Raymond is currently Hatch’s regional managing director for Europe, based in Essen, Germany. He is a senior electrical engineer with 23 years of experience in the industrial and metallurgical fields. Raymond’s experience in titanium dioxide, aluminum, nickel and iron includes assignments throughout the world, from Canada’s northern territories to Australia, Colombia, Malaysia, and many more, working on small to mega-projects. Raymond is a control and automation expert as well as an engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) execution specialist. He has successfully played a wide range of roles in project management, control and automation, project setup, value engineering center leadership, scheduling, cost control, risk analysis, construction, commissioning, start-ups, and plant maintenance work. Raymond’s recent roles within Hatch include general manager for the global project delivery center in Montréal, and project and construction management director for Hatch’s Eastern North America region, where he provided leadership for operations in the U.S. and Canada.
