Sebastian Börner serves as technical project manager Power4Steel for Stahl-Holding-Saar. After studying mechanical engineering and completing his M.B.A at Aachen University of Applied Sciences, Börner went on to receive a doctorate from Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in the field of hydrogen technology. He joined Dillinger in 2013 and was given responsibility for commissioning the CC6 continuous casting line. When he moved to Stahl-Holding-Saar, Börner was made jointly responsible for the conception and management of the decarbonization project of Dillinger and Saarstahl, Power4Steel. In his current position as technical project manager, Borner is responsible for areas including production, metallurgy, scrap management and energy design.
