Mauro Milocco After technical studies in Italy and Sweden, Mauro Milocco graduated as a mechanical industrial engineer from A. Malignani Technical High School in 1997. He began his career in the aeronautical industry, working in Italy and the U.S. In 2006, he joined Concast AG as a design engineer and was later promoted to project engineer and then R&D project engineer. Following Concast and SMS Meer’s merger into the SMS group, Milocco took over as head of design and development team for steelmaking, with focus on developing innovative and sustainable technologies for electric steel plants. In 2018, Milocco joined Danieli Group as technical director of its Germany-based Fröhling division, with focus on cold rolling mills and process lines for ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Within this division he served as vice president and then executive vice president execution until 2024, when he refocused his work to the execution of large-scale projects in Germany. |
